Laying color onto a blank page is when I feel closest to true magic, when I feel happiest and most relaxed, and it's through what I create that I share my love of magic with the world.Through my coloring books I want to share that same magic with you. The artworks in my books are based on my completed paintings, which I have painted over the last ten years as a professional artist. I have created the coloring designs to be intricate and detailed but still fun and accessible. There is something for lovers of meditative detail while simple enough to not be overwhelming for younger colorists. When designing my books I decided to print them with two copies of each design, because I know as an artist there are always so many possibilities! I wanted to give everybody the chance of a do-over with every design, because I also know mistakes can happen, and even the fear of mistakes can hamper creativity. I want you to be able to create without fear! Try a different medium, or a different color scheme. The double pages are also a chance to share the magic with a friend, child, parent, sibling. Because sharing your creativity and joy of color is the best magic of all. Read more

Yes, Selina Fenech does NOT disappoint! She has outdone herself in her latest grayscale edition of her fabulous magical coloring books! I am so happy with this one because she has lightened the darker shades a bit so lighter colors can be used. Not to mention the enchantment tone of the overall book is breathtaking!Ok, the nitty and the gritty!I really like how she still includes an extra copy of each image, it makes it a little less nerve racking just knowing you have a back up. Or if you are happy with how your picture turned out, you just have an extra to do as you wish with! Also, I love how each page is single sided and very easy to remove if one is so inclined. The paper quality is pretty much the standard of all coloring books, not artist quality but not super thin, it has a wee bit of tooth to it.It seems to accept any medium you may want to use, Marker, some water color, pastels, but I find that colored pencil works best, more specifically oil based colored pencil. No matter what medium you chose, I would always place a pice of card stock under for any bleed through. If you are going to leave your pic in the book as you work I would most certainly put card stock underneath so you don't get indentations on the next page.I just got my book today, so as soon as I get a page finished I will upload so everyone can see a finished pice.I did NOT receive this book free or for a reduced price. I am just an artist trying to pass on hopefully some helpful information!
